May 22, 2008! I absolutely cannot wait! What ya wanna bet it’s going to be a chase day?
Any of you younger folks that have not had the pleasure of seeing Indiana Jones in action, go out and rent the first 3 movies NOW. It’s a timeless classic and some of the greatest adventure movies of all times that will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time with numerous close calls and seemingly unpossible escapes from impossible situatations. You won’t be disappointed!
It’s very ironic that you posted this… Mini-Dew is having her 10th birthday party today. When she came home from her dad’s on Sunday, she had her father’s copies of the Indiana Jones trilogy. When I asked her father why, he said that she wants everyone to watch those at her slumber party. She thinks they are terrific… She is referring to them as the really scary but good Indiana Jones movies. Too funny.
… as an aside, Harrison Ford is still hot as hell! That man has aged nicely.
Yeah, I have tickets to a concert that I wouldn’t miss for “anything” on May 2nd. I need to define “anything” as it pertains to weather I guess…
Yeah, as bad as I want to see this, I won’t miss a chase day for it. That’s the nice thing, if it were a chase day, I would miss the opening crowds!
Funny memory, the day Twister came out I was chasing and didn’t get to see it on opening day. Got in some massive hail that day!
And yes Dew, he has aged well. He is one of the few actors I will go see a movie just because they are in it, along with the likes of Sean Connery, William Shatner and Brent Spiner.
Most of us men wish we could age half as gracefully as Ford is!
I hope this will be new life in Indiana Jones and we will see a few more movies, even if it’s a spinoff. You get George Lucas and Steven Spielburg together you really can’t screw it up!
I’ve seen some of the trailers for it and it looks awesome. I’ve been a huge fan of the previous ones. I think the first one was the best.
